Jimmy brings a wealth of human resources and talent management leadership expertise toIntegrated People Solutions. Prior to joining IPS, Jimmy served as Waste Management’s Senior Vice President of People. Jimmy was responsible for starting up and overseeing all of the company’s human resource functions, including compensation, benefits, recruitment, development, retention, performance management, and succession planning. During his tenure, Jimmy led the search and selection of the company’s new chief executive officer. Jimmy worked closely with the Board to develop a systematic process for selecting the new CEO, helped conduct formal assessments of the three internal candidates, facilitated the Board in choosing the final candidate. He also spent two years helping the new CEO successfully transition into his new position and supporting him and his leadership team to drive long-term business strategies company-wide.

Prior to Waste Management, Jimmy was the executive vice president of community relations for Covad Communications Group, Inc. Jimmy spent over 20 years at US WEST where he help positions in operations and human resources. Before leaving the company, he served as the executive director of human resources where he led a team of 200 professionals who were responsible for all of the company’s staffing, recruiting, relocation, and management development programs.
